VIOLET IVY | AUDIO-VISUAL LIVE PERFORMANCE
Audio-Visual Live Performance

‘Violet Ivy’ is an audio-visual work that employs a visual motion tracking system to create a real-time performance through hand gestures and movements. This multi-dimensional experience integrates live manipulation of sound and visuals, weaving together two core elements: the dynamic interaction with a MIDI-equipped Bösendorfer piano and the simultaneous creation of visual art.

As the performer moves through the space, the grand piano responds to their hand movements, translating gestures into musical notes. At the same time, the performer draws on a digital canvas, blending musical expression with visual artistry. This dual interaction unfolds in real time, exploring the synergy between live music, visual art, and movement. The result is a unique, immersive experience that engages both the performer and the audience.
